Time has gotten away

I would apologize for my lack of keeping up with our blog however we had a glitch in the blogging system and much of my energy goes into my family so it's hard to apologize for that.  Life with an active kindergartner with a soccer schedule and a baby girl in gymnastics keeps our lives going from start of day to end.  Chad had the privilege of coaching Ty's soccer team, they had such a great season the parents of all the other kids on the team have asked to stay together and keep Chad on as coach.  It was Chad's first coaching experience and he did amazing.  Ty absolutely loved soccer and is becoming quite the soccer player.  We have practice games in our back yard and he just loves when it's daddy and Ty verses mommy.  Aidan is showing some real skill in soccer as well, she uses the time while watching Ty's practice and games to work on her dribbling.  We can already tell she is going to keep us hopping with all her activities.  She adored gymnastics and was so sad when it was over.  Ty and Aidan both are ready to start up soccer and gymnastics again in the spring.  I have also been blessed with the ability to volunteer quite a bit at Ty's school.  He has such a sweet class and not only learning a lot in the class but making such precious friendships.  He is reading all the time, and really excelling in all his areas of learning.  We were so proud of him at our first parent teacher conference they bragged on him and informed us that he scored the highest he could in many categories that are not expected for high scores in a kindergartner.  He is a proud big brother and has been helping teach Aidan sight words in which she now can read several on her own.  We were able to spend the entire Thanksgiving in Florida with family, and now are looking forward to a long week and a half spending some time with Chad's family and a few surprises we have in store for just Ty and Aidan.  Christmas time has brought lots of talk with Ty and Aidan regarding families that are in need so they have gotten a list of a family that is in need now and tomorrow morning we are going out as a family to buy presents for them.  It is heartwarming to see how excited Ty is to buy presents for these children he has never met.  We then are planning our annual candy making together to take to friends around town.  Aidan can hardly wait to help deliver the goodies.  We are blessed beyond words with our babies and their big hearts.  We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and an blessed new year!

Love to all, Chad, Becca, Ty and Aidan

Where has the time gone?

First so sorry it has taken so long to catch up.  Life has be wonderfully busy, enjoying my babies.  We spent the month of Feburary and first part of March traveling around the southern states visting friends and family.  At the end of our trip we were able to spend a few weeks in Atlanta where Ty got to have a Star Wars birthday party with some of his good friends.  Once we left to head back to Florida the kids couldn't wait to set foot on the white sandy beaches again.  They are definetly salt water babies, Ty wants to swim so far out that my heart stops a little.  Aidan wants so much to be right behind but doesn't quite have the swimming skills like Ty yet, but she's getting there.  Ty takes his body board out and could spend all day on the waves.  Aidan just loves to run up and down the beach, and especially loves to chase the sea gulls.  The weekend of Easter was a busy one for the Ford family.  We spent a wonderful weekend with our family, easter egg hunting, swimming, and moving to our new house.  The kids were so excited about their new rooms.  Ty got his big bunk bed and Aidan got into her new room with her very loved birdie bedding.  Pictures to be added soon of their precious smiling faces in their rooms.  Ty, Aidan and Bailey are in love with the fenced in back yard.  Some days we spend more time there insead of inside the house.  Ty and Aidan both are doing so amazing at their lessons learning letters, numbers.  Ty is on to learning addition/subtraction and is so excited about Kindergarden.  Would love to keep my babies this way forever, but I'm so proud of them and what they are growing up to be.  We cherish every moment.
